Job summary

manpowe is seeking a Product Development Technician to join its Research & Development team. You will support Product Development Scientists, Engineers, and Technical teams in a hands-on lab environment.

The role emphasizes meticulous data recording, adherence to ASTM methods, and safe operation of laboratory and power tools, with opportunities for cross-training and professional growth. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a laboratory, product development, manufacturing, or technical environment.
• Ability to follow testing procedures, ASTM methods, and safety protocols.
• Comfortable using power tools such as drills, saws, routers, and related equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document and communicate results.
• Proficiency with computer systems and digital tools for data entry, reporting, and task management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare batches of adhesive and sealant formulations using laboratory mixing equipment.
• Perform product testing using ASTM and internal methodologies while following established protocols.
• Operate laboratory equipment and power tools to prepare specimens and fabricate materials for testing and customer demonstrations.
• Record, organize, and communicate testing data and results using digital product development platforms.
• Support laboratory safety, 5S initiatives, equipment maintenance, and cross-functional training activities.
