Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Personnel Security Clearance.
• 5+ years of procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain experience in a technical environment.
• Experience procuring specialized technical components, electronics, RF/radar hardware, test equipment, fabricated parts, or engineering services.
• Ability to manage competing procurement priorities in a fast-paced development environment.
• Experience soliciting quotes, evaluating supplier proposals, negotiating pricing, issuing purchase orders.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and data analysis.
• Proficiency with ERP and inventory management systems.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Procure technical components, materials, equipment, and services supporting R&D, prototype, testing, and manufacturing activities.
• Partner with Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, and Finance to translate requirements, build schedules, and budget inputs into sourcing plans.
• Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage suppliers for complex hardware, RF/radar, and technology development.
• Solicit quotations, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and issue purchase orders aligned with program needs.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, costs, and procurement risks; escalate constraints impacting milestones.
• Support long-lead material planning, alternate sourcing, and risk mitigation for prototypes and low-volume production.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to support prototype builds and NPI ramp-up activities.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with policies and government requirements.
• Improve procurement workflows, cost controls, data accuracy, and supply chain resilience as the organization scales.
