Job summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a mid-level supply chain coordinator for a 6-month, onsite contract in San Diego, CA. You will coordinate supply requests, work with suppliers, and maintain purchasing records within established processes.

Opportunity Summary

Support the research and development teams of a growing medical device company by coordinating supply orders, working with suppliers, and keeping purchasing records accurate. You will work independently within established processes and partner closely with Procurement and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate supply requests and purchasing activities through established processes
• Resolve routine exceptions such as delivery delays and incomplete information, and elevate larger issues to Procurement
• Work with laboratory and site teams to anticipate supply shortages and upcoming needs

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or vendor management
• Experience with purchasing, order coordination, and invoice reconciliation
• Strong spreadsheet skills and working knowledge of purchasing or request-management software

Preferred

• Experience in a laboratory, engineering, medical device, or other regulated setting
• Professional certification such as CPSM, CSCP, or CPPB
