Job summary

TOKYO ELECTRON AMERICA, INC. in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a hands-on Process Engineering Technician to perform tests and experiments within R&D. You will set up processing equipment, monitor test runs, and prepare results to help identify yield improvements and test new products.

You will provide technical assistance to process development and engineering, perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance, and support safety and cleanroom procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Must be legally authorized to work in US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical tests and experiments for process engineering within R&D.
• Sets up processing equipment and monitors test runs.
• Audits and guides line operators; prepares records, charts and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.
• Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
• Performs preventative and unscheduled maintenance on process equipment.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree with 2+ years of related experience or 4 years in lieu of degree
