Job summary

TEL in Hillsboro is seeking a Process Technician on a contract basis with day or night shifts. You will perform technical tests and experiments for process engineering, set up processing equipment, and monitor line operators.

Travel to TEL facilities may be required, with emphasis on creating records and charts for engineering review. The role requires a Bachelor's or Associate's degree (or equivalent experience) with possible substitutions for military training, and a willingness to work in a

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree; or Associate's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
Completion of military technical training and field experience may substitute for an Associate's Degree; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Performs technical tests and experiments for process engineering within R&D.
Performs set up of processing equipment.
Monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators.
Processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.
Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
Performs preventative and unscheduled maintenance on process equipment.
