Job summary

Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) is seeking a PMO Portfolio and Strategy Leader to drive project management excellence across the organization, focusing on the R&D portfolio. You will work with the R&D Director and senior management to align project selection with strategy and ensure delivery on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• A relevant post-graduate degree (biology, chemistry, medical sciences, etc.).
• Proven track record in portfolio and project management delivering large, complex projects on time and on budget.
• Leadership or management training with experience managing junior or mid-level team members.

Responsibilities

• PMO 20%: update strategic plan, promote project management excellence, ensure alignment with R&D strategy, mentor PMO staff.
• Portfolio/PM 80%: drive efficiency, support R&D leaders with processes and best practices, manage risks and allocate resources, ensure compliance with DNDi policies.
