Job summary

Ketjen Corporation is seeking a Pilot Plant Operator to carry out catalyst preparations in the pilot plant in support of existing and new product development efforts.

You will train to work with minimal supervision, independently performing catalyst preparations, manipulating data, and ensuring quality. The role supports researchers and the pilot plant supervisor while following SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Process Technology degree or at least two years of chemical manufacturing experience.
• Ability to learn, follow operating procedures and safety requirements.
• Solid computer proficiency with production software and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Train to work with minimal supervision, carrying out catalyst preparations in the pilot plant.
• Manipulate spreadsheets, spray-drying and post processing, record data, verify quality.
• Support new product development efforts and provide plant support as needed.
• Handle physical tasks and operate equipment safely; overtime may be required.
