Job summary

Limagrain Field Seeds Asia Pacific seeks an R&D operations technician to oversee yield-trial testing from planning to harvest and ensure alignment with company standards.

You will supervise the testing team, manage data collection, and coordinate with labs to guarantee accurate transfer to PCs for analysis, while supporting hybrids decisions and budget controls.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting R&D testing programs and data collection.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a lab or field setting.
• Strong understanding of data management and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage R&D testing and workers.
• Follow steps from test plan, seeds preparation, planting, crop management, data collection and record keeping.
• Manage company software to ensure accurate data transfer to PC and data analysis.
• Support decision making through hybrids for release or advancement.
• Manage manpower and ensure health and safety rules are followed.
• Support other R&D and Product Development activities as assigned.
• Manage budgets and expenses within area of responsibility.
• Coordinate with R&D operations to ensure tools and equipment are ready for testing.

Manage yield trial testing from plan, planting till harvest and to meet company requirements.

Job description

• Supervise and manage R&D Testing and worker.
• Follow through steps since test plan, seeds preparation, planting, crops management, data collection and record to get good results in the final.
• Manage in company software program to complete the correctly data to have the most precise and fast transfer to PC.in computer and send to data analyze.
• Support information for decision making through the hybrids to be release or advance.
• Execute to manage manpower to use in testing site effectively by using both company and outsource labors and control labors cost as target and making sure health and safety rules are properly applied in the team.
• Support other R&D and Product Development initiatives as assigned.
• Manage budgets and expenses within area of responsibility.
• Cooperate with R&D operation to ensure that all tools and equipment are ready to use for testing activities.
