Qualifications

Vocational or Technical Certificate or some college level courses in related field.
Minimum of 6-10 years of vocational training or job experience or combination of both.
Must have a current valid driver's license and working knowledge of plant safety and OSHA safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
Dismantles machinery, establishes best removal process or relocation procedure.
Construct foundations for new machinery.
Aligns machinery and equipment.
Assembles machines, bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures.
Reads blueprints and specifications to determine job requirements.
Repairs and lubricates machine and equipment.
