Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Medical Technology, or related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years in a clinical microbiology lab, bacteriology benchwork; familiarity with molecular technologies a plus.
• Strong understanding of clinical microbiology principles and lab practices.
• Proficiency with Excel/Word/databases; excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Apply clinical microbiology expertise to ensure products meet real-world needs.
• Design and execute lab experiments with minimal oversight to support development and validation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, and Service.
• Author and review validation protocols and technical documentation.
• Support troubleshooting and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with advancements in clinical microbiology and related technologies.
