Job summary

Titan Formwork Systems is seeking an R&D Mechanical Engineer to drive product development from concept through commercialization. You will design with manufacturability in mind, create prototypes, and support validation and transition to production.

Collaborating across sales, manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering, you will help improve existing products and solve design challenges using SolidWorks, additive manufacturing, and testing methods in a hands-on shop environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 0–5 years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, including design, assemblies, drawings, BOMs, and related documentation.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Understanding of mechanical design principles, product development, prototyping, testing, and manufacturability.
• Ability to work 100% on-site in Tempe, AZ, including regular shop-floor work.
• Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, verbal and written communication, and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical components, systems, and assemblies using SolidWorks and other tools for manufacturable designs.
• Support full life cycle product development from concept to manufacturing release.
• Create and evaluate prototype designs using additive manufacturing and other methods.
• Plan, conduct, and document product testing including destructive and non-destructive tests.
