Job summary

Scientific Applications & Research Associates, Inc. (SARA) in Cypress, CA, is seeking a Research and Development Engineer - Mechanical to support R&D, prototyping, and low-rate production on programs for government and commercial clients. This hands-on role blends lab work and design activities.

You will join a small team to design, build, test, and document proof-of-concept hardware, with opportunities to grow alongside engineers and technicians in a fast-paced, technically focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, software, aerospace, etc.)
• GPA 3.5 or higher
• 0 to 5 years applicable experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office tool suite
• US citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance
