Job summary

Velcro USA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to solve problems and contribute to product development by generating design inputs, requirements, and specifications. You will assess technologies, compile reports, and build proof-of-concept tests.

Responsibilities include collaborating with Operations, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineers, translating customer needs into concrete specifications, and ensuring safety and quality compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Experience in machine design, build, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Experience with web converting, extrusion, injection molding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to evaluate technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables.
• Translate customer needs into engineering requirements and specifications.
• Develop and validate designs through tests and documentation.
• Lead documentation: drawings, BOMs, standard work.
