Job summary

Abbott in Columbus, OH is hiring a Research Operator in Research & Development to support the processing and sterilization of infant and adult nutrition products. You’ll operate equipment, perform CIP, cleaning, and routine housekeeping as part of a manufacturing team.

The role requires following procedures, maintaining safety, and communicating observations to Product Development, Engineering and QA. Minimum education is a high school diploma; a technical degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet departmental standards for teamwork and customer service.
• Comply with Abbott Quality System as it applies to the PRC.
• Operate equipment and perform cleaning, CIP, and setup of necessary equipment.
• Maintain good housekeeping in work areas.
• Perform environmental monitoring sampling and in-process testing.
• Communicate project execution issues to Product Development, Engineering and QA.
• Obtain Better Process Control certification.
