Job summary

CertainTeed Corporation, part of Saint-Gobain, seeks a Lab Technician in Malvern, PA for a 3-month assignment supporting the Interior Products Group (gypsum, insulation and ceiling). The candidate will safely perform analyses, run experiments, and document results to aid product development and cost reduction efforts.

Hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday–Friday; pay rate ranges from $23.00 to $29.00 per hour DOE. Join a team focused on safety, 5S lab practices, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 3-4 years chemical lab experience required.
• Associates degree preferred in scientific field with professional experience (chemistry, engineering or science preferred).
• Co-op, intern, and/or prior Chemical laboratory experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of statistical tools, data analysis, and drawing conclusions from basic data.
• Demonstrated basic knowledge in HSE; comfortable in lab with basic machinery and tools.

Responsibilities

• Supports engineers and scientists in R&D projects.
• Executes and/or supports commercial and manufacturing requests.
• Documents projects with concise, technically accurate reports under supervision.
• Performs hands-on experimental work and ensures products meet company SOPs.
