Job summary

LATICRETE International is a global construction solutions provider seeking a motivated Lab Technician for its R&D operations in Texas. The role focuses on preparing formulations and conducting testing under supervision, with responsibilities across batching security and lab safety.

Qualified candidates bring 2–4 years in a research lab or 1 year in a construction material lab, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; an Associates degree in science preferred.
• 2–4 years’ experience in a research lab or 1 year in a construction material laboratory.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work well in a team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and follow lab safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical testing on experimental or standard products as directed by staff member.
• Record and report test results in an approved manner.
• Maintain absolute security over batching and formula sheets at night, weekends or when not in use.
• Insure that only authorized personnel have access to formulas.
• Maintain a clean and efficiently operating R&D laboratory and testing equipment.
• Provide innovative suggestions for improved performance tests and methods.
• Implement special technical projects as assigned by supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
