Responsibilities
- Liaising successfully with a large scale of stakeholders (non-technical, technical, exacting, external as well as internal) to identify IS & T needs, evaluate them and to find possible solutions.
- Supporting the development teams with development systems, operating systems and network issues.
- Ensuring efficient deployment of standard business processes & applications mainly in the development departments for HW and SW and integration of latest non-standard hardware and software into the existing environment of a large corporation.
- Ensuring functional & technical coherence between Group IS standards (e.g account administration, SW compliance, data confidentiality, cyber security) and local implementation.
- Pilot new business features not yet covered by standards.
- Exchange and capitalizing best practices with other Op. engineers within the team and other cross‑functional teams in Valeo organization.
- Ensuring the local licence management starting from ordering, installation & support is done according to group IS‑IT rules.
- Contribution and support of IS & IT projects (from start to finish).
- Management of ticketing systems and contribution to the department activities, KPI’s.
- Training & supporting internal/external business users whenever it is required.
- Focus on R&D and interdisciplinary work expectations.
- Bringing the requirements of the R&D teams to the global IT and IS organization and follow up to find workable solutions.
- Incidents management, from identification, through resolution, to shutdown and restore operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), DevOps tools (Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes), or systems administration are highly desirable.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in software architecture and/or production platform operations.
- Hands‑on experience with R&D Engineering Tools and platforms such as PLM/ALM, CAD, TeamForge, Git, Jenkins, etc.
- Strong background in cloud platforms and cloud computing, with foundational knowledge of AI/ML technologies.
- Proven track record in supporting enterprise‑level software, IT infrastructure, and heterogeneous operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate IS/IT projects and collaborate across multiple departments and stakeholders.
- Experience managing large‑scale infrastructure projects, including system migrations, upgrades, and cloud adoption.
- Solid understanding and practical experience in Agile and DevOps environments, with a focus on continuous improvement and automation.
- Fluent English (spoken and written), German is a plus.
- Team Player with very good communication skills, ability to work in an international team.
