Job summary

Mativ Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Research & Development Intern for a 12-week program in Neenah, Wisconsin, starting in May 2026.

You will engage in hands-on R&D activities, collaborate with a multi-functional team, and gain exposure to real-time production and paper-based material projects. Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in Paper Science, Chemistry, or Engineering, with at least two years of coursework completed and a GPA around 3.0.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Paper Science, Chemistry or Engineering.
• Minimum two full years of coursework completed; three years preferred.
• Preferred GPA around 3.0 in the field of study.
• Solid Microsoft Excel skills and Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the R&D team on process efficiency and technology projects.
• Attend leadership meetings and report tasks from meetings.
• Work with scientists to identify paper properties.
• Participate in new customer trials and SOP updates.
• Contribute to project work assigned by R&D management.
