Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking an R&D Intern (Praktikant) to support the development of microwave acoustic technologies and SAW devices for RF applications at our Germany site in Teltow.

You will assist in process development, learn through hands-on testing, and contribute to CAD tool efforts while applying fundamentals from multiple engineering disciplines and programming in supported languages.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent.
• 0-3 years of working experience in related field preferred.
• Willingness to learn and apply new concepts in RF/microwave engineering.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply fundamental concepts from multiple engineering disciplines for microwave acoustic devices.
• Contribute to CAD tool development for acoustic wave devices.
• Assist in process development projects and document results.
