Job summary

Micron Technology seeks an Intern Engineer to collaborate with experienced engineers on wafer probe equipment and process solutions. You will conduct hands-on projects, apply data-driven analysis, and work across teams to drive innovation in semiconductor manufacturing.

You will learn to characterize equipment, validate processes, and communicate findings through reports and presentations, gaining practical experience for future engineering roles within Micron.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Solid grounding in mechanical and electrical fundamentals.
• Experience with statistics, data analysis, and Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development, characterization, validation, and deployment of wafer probe equipment, hardware, software, and process improvements.
• Design and execute experiments using statistical methods and DOE techniques to evaluate equipment and process performance.
• Analyze manufacturing and equipment performance data, identify trends, and recommend solutions to improve quality, reliability, and efficiency.
• Create and deliver technical reports, presentations, and documentation that communicate project findings and recommendations.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools and automation solutions to improve engineering productivity and data analysis.
