Job summary

Corteva Agriscience in Indianapolis offers full-time internships in our Research and Development organization. Interns will work with experienced scientists in an industrial R&D setting, gaining hands-on experience in microbiology, plant biology, entomology, and related fields focusing on crop protection and biotechnology.

Interns must relocate to Indianapolis for 40 hours/week over 10 weeks (May–August) while pursuing a Biology-related degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in Biology or related field.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
  • Must relocate to Indianapolis, IN for duration of internship.
  • Must be able to work full-time (40 hrs/week) for at least 10 weeks (May–Aug).
  • Aseptic technique experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct lab and/or greenhouse research in microbiology, plant biology, entomology, or related fields with focus on crop protection/biotech products.
  • Participate in all research phases: planning, preparation, calibration, application, evaluation and analysis with supervisor.
  • Follow safety culture and safe work practices in all activities.
  • Demonstrate independent and creative thinking by observing, interpreting data and drawing conclusions.
  • Present project reviews and a final poster to colleagues and peers.
