Job summary

Corteva Agriscience is offering full-time internships in our Research and Development organization in Indianapolis, Indiana. Interns will work alongside experienced scientists, gaining hands-on experience in microbiology, plant biology, and related fields to support crop protection and biotechnology projects.

You will participate in planning, execution, and data analysis, emphasize safety, and present a final poster to colleagues.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Biology or related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Must relocate to Indianapolis, IN for the internship duration.
• Must be able to work full-time (40 hours/week) for at least 10 weeks (May–August).
• Aseptic technique experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory and/or greenhouse research in microbiology, plant biology, entomology or related fields with a focus on crop protection or biotech products.
• Participate in all phases of research: planning, preparation, calibration, application, evaluation and analysis with supervisor.
• Work safely and follow Corteva’s safety culture.
• Demonstrate independent and creative thinking by making observations, interpreting data, and drawing sound scientific conclusions.
• Present project reviews during the summer and deliver a final poster.

Interns will work closely with experienced scientists and technical experts in an industrial R&D setting, with opportunities to build skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and network across the company.

What You’ll Do:

What Skills You Need:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Biology or related field


• Minimum 3.0 GPA


• Must be able to relocate to Indianapolis, IN for the duration of the internship.


• Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during the timeframe of May to August.


• Experience with aseptic technique a plus but not required
