Job summary

Corteva Agriscience in Indianapolis offers a full-time summer internship in our Research and Development organization. Interns will work with experienced scientists on biochemistry projects, gaining hands-on experience across planning, preparation, calibration, application, evaluation, and analysis.

You will relocate to Indianapolis for a 10-week program (May–August), complete a final poster, and present reviews.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Biochemistry.
• Must have completed one full year of undergrad biochemistry and lab courses.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Must relocate to Indianapolis, IN for the internship.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week for at least 10 weeks (May–Aug).

Corteva Agriscience is seeking students for full-time internships within our Research and Development organization in Indianapolis, Indiana. Interns will work closely with experienced scientists and technical experts in an industrial R&D setting, with opportunities to build skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and network across the company.

What You'll Do:

• Interns will participate in research projects focused in one of many biochemistry related fields including plant biology, microbiology, molecular biology, and plant pathology.
• Participate in all phases of research including planning, preparation, calibration, application, evaluation, and analysis with supervisor.
• Work in a safe manner and embody Corteva's safety culture.
• Demonstrate independent and creative thinking by making novel observations, interpreting data, and drawing sound scientific conclusions.
• Present project reviews throughout the summer and a final poster before colleagues and peers.

What Skills You Need:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Biochemistry
• Must have successfully completed one full year of undergraduate-level biochemistry curriculum including associated laboratory courses
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Must be able to relocate to Indianapolis, IN for the duration of the internship.
• Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during the timeframe of May to August.
