Job summary

Corteva Agriscience is seeking students for full-time summer internships in our Indianapolis, IN research and development organization. Interns will work closely with experienced scientists in an industrial R&D setting, gaining hands-on experience and opportunities to contribute to meaningful projects.

Applicants pursuing a Biochemistry degree (Bachelor/Master/PhD) with at least one year of Biochemistry coursework and a 3.0 GPA, who can relocate to Indianapolis and commit to 40 hours per week

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Biochemistry degree (Bachelor/Master/PhD) with at least one year of Biochemistry coursework.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Must relocate to Indianapolis, IN for the internship.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for 10 weeks (May–August).

• Participate in all phases of research including planning, preparation, calibration, application, evaluation, and analysis with supervisor.
• Work safely and follow Corteva’s safety culture.
• Demonstrate independent and creative thinking by making observations, interpreting data, and drawing conclusions.
• Present project reviews and a final poster.

Interns will work closely with experienced scientists and technical experts in an industrial R&D setting, with opportunities to build skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and network across the company.

What You’ll Do

• Participate in all phases of research including planning, preparation, calibration, application, evaluation, and analysis with supervisor.
• Work in a safe manner and embody Corteva’s safety culture.
• Demonstrate independent and creative thinking by making novel observations, interpreting data, and drawing sound scientific conclusions.
• Present project reviews throughout the summer and a final poster before colleagues and peers.

What Skills You Need

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Biochemistry
• Must have successfully completed one full year of undergraduate-level biochemistry curriculum including associated laboratory courses
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Must be able to relocate to Indianapolis, IN for the duration of the internship.
• Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during the timeframe of May to August.
