Job summary
Genentech, a Roche subsidiary in South San Francisco, is seeking an R&D Business Insight and Digital Solution Lead to steer cross-functional teams in delivering high-impact, data-driven products for RDT. You will shape roadmaps, blend business and technical strategy, and mentor colleagues to foster a safe, innovative environment.
You will leverage pharmaceutical informatics and advanced analytics, including AI and multimodal data platforms, to translate complex R&D needs into actionable IT
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, IT or Business; Master’s preferred.
- 8+ years of direct related experience, including 3+ years in life sciences/pharma.
- Proven track record leading extremely complex projects with enterprise-wide implications.
Responsibilities
- Scope/Content Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact products and shape strategy.
- Drive End-to-End Digital Execution: Manage multi-squad software and data delivery from concept to operation.
- Industry & Trend Foresight: Leverage pharmaceutical informatics and analytics trends for strategic fit.
- Accountability/Problem Solving: Drive outcomes, set priorities, and ensure psychological safety.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior leaders, communicate trade-offs and risks.
