The role involves modeling and simulation of piezoelectric resonators and filters, with a focus on the finite element method.
Specifically, the employee will work within the R&D modeling team to develop and run in-house FEM models. The job requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to characterize and optimize both linear and non-linear device performance for product and technology development.
The candidate should have a PhD in Electrical Engineering, preferably with an emphasis on piezoelectric resonator device physics and computational methods, along with 3+ years of relevant experience. The primary duty involves using Comsol, interfaced with scripting/programming tools, to develop, automate, and run linear and high-power models. The scope includes resonator-level modeling of FBARs, filter designs with FBAR and other RF components, and device performance optimization. Interaction with measurement, characterization, and fabrication teams to provide simulation-based guidance for current and future product and technology development is essential.
The annual base salary range for this position is $119,000 - $190,000.
This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and equity in accordance with company plans and agreements.
