Experis in Montvale, NJ is seeking an R&D Assistant to support development and formulation of new products based on consumer insights and brand initiatives. This 12-month contract role offers an hourly pay range of $28-$32 and the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams.

You will perform bench work, document lab records, and assist with product evaluations while adhering to SOP, GLP, and ISO standards, enabling you to contribute to milestone-driven projects in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 0-2 years of laboratory/R&D experience or related scientific experience.
• Understanding of formulation principles and chemical interactions.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with SOPs, GLP and ISO standards is preferred, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Support development and formulation of new products based on consumer insights and brand initiatives.
• Assist with product development projects and act as an R&D representative through development process.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and R&D to meet milestones.
• Conduct product performance evaluations, testing, and maintain accurate lab records.
• Perform bench work, maintain equipment, and follow SOPs and safety protocols.
