Job summary

Riviana Foods Inc. invites applications for a hands-on Research & Development Technician in St. Charles, MO. This role works with Bertagni USA to develop pasta products, manage pilot-line trials, and support early-stage product concepts.

You will receive technical training with Bertagni's teams in Italy and transfer expertise to the U.S. operation, contributing to product scale-up and commercialization.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in food product development or QA (1–3 years preferred).
• Experience with pasta or dough-based products is a plus.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hands-on product, process, and manufacturing training with Bertagni teams in Italy.
• Support pilot line operations for development, testing, and trials.
• Assist in developing and improving pasta products and formulations.
• Prepare ingredients, formulations, and documentation for trials.
• Collect trial data and sensory results.
• Translate customer feedback into product and process improvements.
