Job summary

Like Air is seeking an R&D - Food Science & Project Management Associate to own technical development and commercialization from concept to production. You’ll work across labs, production floors, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products quickly.

This hands-on role requires a degree in a relevant field and several years of experience in food science or CPG product development. Travel to partner facilities (~50%) and occasional nontraditional hours support our rapid,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in food product development
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple product development and commercialization projects with timelines and milestones.
• Collaborate with Founder team, Operations, Marketing, Sales, suppliers and manufacturers.
• Design formulations, conduct shelf-life studies, sensory evaluations and testing.
• Oversee packaging concepts and ensure quality, regulatory, labeling compliance.
• Translate consumer needs into viable products with cost and scalability.
