Job summary

Boston Scientific in Waltham, MA is seeking an R&D Engineering Systems Co-op. You will join an interdisciplinary team providing technical leadership across mechanical, electrical, software and catheter engineering, collaborating with marketing, regulatory and quality to move projects from concept to commercialization and sustainment.

You’ll help define system requirements, analyze clinical workflows, document designs, and execute testing for design verification.

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in biomedical, computer, or electrical engineering.
Proficiency in MATLAB.
Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Define and analyze system requirements, clinical workflows, and input/output processes using current systems engineering methods.
Resolve system problems by analyzing situations and recommending corrective actions.
Document system architecture and design control elements through technical documents and reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into technical requirements.
Define, troubleshoot, and execute testing for system design and verification activities.
Support risk analysis activities for assigned projects.
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives.
