Job summary

Dizario Search is seeking an experienced R&D Engineering Manager to drive innovation across advanced materials, joining technologies, and manufacturing solutions. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, shape technical direction, and move ideas from lab to real-world applications.

You’ll mentor engineers, manage development programs, and push for IP and patents to differentiate our technology in the market.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field.
8+ years of R&D or engineering experience, ideally in aerospace or advanced manufacturing.
Proven experience leading technical teams and complex development programs.
Strong knowledge of materials, joining technologies, or advanced manufacturing.
Experience with innovation, product development, and IP/patents is a plus.
Hands-on, entrepreneurial approach to solving challenging technical problems.

Responsibilities

Lead Innovation: Set the technical direction and turn emerging technologies into development opportunities.
Build New Technology: Drive projects involving adhesives, bonding, thermoplastics, surface engineering, laser processing, and mechanical fastening.
Take Ideas to Market: Lead programs from research and prototyping through testing, qualification, and launch.
Lead Great People: Mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technical professionals.
Create IP: Drive invention disclosures, patents, and technology differentiation.
Influence Across the Business: Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams to make ideas production-ready.
