Job summary

ABB Installation Products is seeking an experienced R&D Engineer to join our Premier Products R&D team in Memphis, TN. You will lead the complete product development lifecycle from concept to market launch, guiding design, testing, validation, and production readiness.

You will design complex components for metals and plastics, ensure manufacturability, and develop engineering documentation. Strong collaboration with manufacturing and product management is essential, with on-site work in Memphis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in manufacturing for large scale production and product testing.
• Strong proficiency with 3D modeling software; Creo is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete product development lifecycle from concept to market launch.
• Lead cross-functional development projects with Product Management, Legal, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
• Design and develop components across metals and plastics using various manufacturing processes.
