Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking an engineer to develop and deliver electrical distribution products and solutions. You will report to the Chapter Lead and contribute across mechanics, electronics, thermal, and software domains in an onsite setting.

The role demands a minimum of 2+ years in related product development, strong analytical skills, and experience with Creo/Windchill. Lean/Six Sigma and agile work experience are preferred, with opportunities to grow and impact customers and markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in development of electrical distribution products/solutions.
• 2+ years implementing new/modified designs in manufacturing.
• Experience with Creo and Windchill preferred.
• Proven ability to analyze test data and solve design issues.
• LEAN/Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Work as an independent or reliable contributor in R&D projects with limited supervision.
• Demonstrate technical proficiency in own area and apply best practices.
• Handle tasks across mechanics, electronics, thermal, and software from concept to testing and transfer.
• Document work results to enable maintenance and improvements.
• Identify areas for product quality improvements.
