Job summary

Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE, is seeking a Research & Development Engineer Intern for summer 2027. You will assess manufacturing processes, research new products, and help improve design efficiency.

You will analyze equipment, conduct tests, and present results. You are enrolled in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical engineering with 1–3 years of college. The team offers hands-on experience and opportunities to contribute to real-world resistor and e-beam technology projects.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of college.
• Enrolled in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical degree program.

Responsibilities

• Researches and determines design of new products, processes, and materials.
• Analyzes equipment to establish operating data.
• Conducts experimental tests and evaluates results to determine optimum materials and processes.
• Work effectively with other staff members to resolve problems.
• Research, analyze, and compile data for reports. Create presentations.
• Will complete end of year project presentation.

Responsible for assessing manufacturing processes to identify methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness of site operations.
