Job summary

Anteris Technologies in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking an R&D Engineer II to translate clinical needs into robust product designs for heart valve and delivery systems. You will work cross-functionally to move concepts from design through verification, validation, and transfer to manufacturing.

The role requires 2–5 years in medical device R&D within a regulated setting, with CAD proficiency and a strong problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, or related).
• 2–5 years of experience in medical device R&D or product development.
• Experience working in a regulated environment (Class III preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop heart valve and catheter-based delivery tools and components.
• Translate user and clinical requirements into engineering specs and verification plans.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Clinical, Process Development, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing.
• Implement risk management, design controls, and documentation per FDA/ISO standards.
• Conduct bench testing, data analysis, and design iterations to improve performance.
