Job summary

Anteris Technologies, a global structural heart company, seeks an experienced R&D Engineer to advance a biomimetic TAVR valve from concept to commercialization. You will collaborate with engineering, clinical, regulatory, and executive teams to drive innovative solutions and ensure robust design verification.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong technical design capability, and hands-on prototyping using CAD tools, imaging analysis, and regulatory-aligned testing by FDA/ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree requirements with substantial medical device design experience.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams and manage integration of clinical data.
• Experience with TAVR or structural heart device development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Characterize device-tissue interactions using clinical/pre-clinical imaging and benchtop data.
• Lead R&D efforts to understand anatomical/physiological interfaces of a TAVR system.
• Support design and development of a TAVR system through design processes.
• Develop comprehensive test plans aligning with FDA/ISO standards.
• Collaborate with R&D, Clinical, Regulatory to align objectives with outcomes.
• Utilize SolidWorks/Creo to design prototypes and components.
• Provide engineering mentorship and document decisions with data.
• Communicate findings and contribute to team development.
