Job summary

Position Summary

The primary objective of this role is to create and develop initiatives that make the organization's operational processes faster, safer, and more cost-effective. Responsible for researching, designing, testing, and implementing new products, technologies, materials, and process improvements that optimize manufacturing and site access operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 1-3 years of hands‑on engineering experience in an R&D, product development, or process optimization capacity (experience in manufacturing, industrial field operations, or heavy civil is a plus).
• Proven track record of operating effectively in a fast‑paced environment. Must be highly organized, self‑directed, and intrinsically motivated to push projects across the finish line.
• A critical thinker who thrives on tackling complex operational bottlenecks to achieve tangible bottom‑line savings.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the professional confidence to negotiate schedules, manage technical requirements, and build strong relationships with external business vendors.
• Willingness to travel domestically.
