Job summary

Imperative Care in Campbell, CA is seeking an R&D Engineer I to join our endovascular-device team. You will contribute to early design, prototyping, testing, and documentation to help bring new devices to market.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in engineering and under 2 years of experience, plus familiarity with Minitab and CAD. Knowledge of GMP/ISO quality systems is preferred; this is an on-site role with occasional travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or related field) required.
Less than 2 years of professional experience or equivalent.
Familiarity with Minitab and CAD software such as SolidWorks or ProE.
Knowledge of GMP, ISO 9001 quality systems.

Responsibilities

Create detailed specifications, prototypes, and test new products or enhancements.
Support studies, experiments, testing, and project plans.
Assist in design of new products with manufacturability in mind.
Prepare design drawings, testing reports, and engineering documents per quality system.
Collaborate with technicians on device testing and documentation.
Perform Design Verification testing and participate in Design Validation.
