Job summary

Planet Pharma seeks an R&D/Released Product Engineer I to support medical devices across the product lifecycle, from commercialization through end-of-life. You will design, develop, and improve products while ensuring regulatory, quality, and manufacturing compliance.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience.
• CAD/CREO and GD&T experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Support released products throughout the commercialization-to-end-of-life product lifecycle.
• Execute sustaining engineering projects, product improvements, and design changes that support quality, compliance, manufacturability, and business objectives.
• Develop engineering solutions using sound technical principles, engineering analysis, and risk-based decision making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Operations, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Supply Chain to achieve project objectives.
• Designs, develops, analyzes, troubleshoots and provides technical skills during research and/or product development.
• Designs studies to investigate specific life science questions within field of expertise.
• May be involved in product research and development and/or clinical trials.
• Translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products.
