Abbott in Plymouth, MN is seeking an R&D Engineer II to join the catheter development team for a 12+ month assignment. You will contribute to development of catheter-based devices, running bench tests, creating CAD models, and supporting manufacturing.

Collaborate with R&D and cross-functional teams, document procedures per FDA/ISO, and help advance prototypes from concept to design validation. Experience with test fixtures, materials, and IP creation is valued.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in mechanical design for medical devices.
• Ability to create and evaluate prototypes and test fixtures.
• Knowledge of regulatory documentation and quality processes.
• Strong communication with R&D and cross-functional teams.
