Job summary

ABB is seeking an experienced engineer to lead development of electrical distribution products. You will contribute ideas, work in R&D across mechanics, electronics, thermal and software, and document results for future maintenance and upgrades.

You will design, implement and test concepts; collaborate with teams in a fast-paced agile environment, and help transfer technology into production while ensuring quality improvements and robust documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical power or similar.
  • 2+ years’ experience in development of products & its solutions in Electrical distributions.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing implementation of new and modified designs.
  • Experience with design and product documentation, Creo and Windchill preferred.
  • Proven ability to analyze test data and solve design issues.
  • LEAN/Six Sigma certification is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced agile work environment.

  • Work as an independent/contributor in R&D projects with limited supervision.
