Job summary

Terrestrial Energy, a US developer of advanced nuclear reactors, is seeking an R&D Electrochemical Test Specialist to assemble test setups and run tests on molten salt electrochemistry in support of the IMSR program. You will analyze data, draft reports, and collaborate with suppliers and the project team.

Requires a Master’s degree and at least 2 years in electrochemistry R&D, with proficiency in Matlab/Python and lab instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of R&D experience in electrochemistry and analytical instrumentation.
• Experience with electrochemical instrumentation and analytical chemistry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate test programs with the R&D Technical Project Lead (I&C).
• Provide SME on analytical chemistry equipment, electroanalytical methods, and salt chemistry.
• Review test setup documents, procedures, specifications and reports.
• Authorship of calculations and summaries of data analyses and tests.
• Present results, risks, constraints and proposed paths forward.
