Job summary

Teleflex seeks an R&D Manager of Design in Morrisville, NC to lead the design organization within the R&D function, driving product innovation and capability development. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering with 8–10+ years in medical device design & development.
• Experience recruiting, developing and leading an engineering team.
• Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of ISO13485 and quality processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product development across programs, including design, verification/validation, risk management, and commercialization.
• Mentor and grow 2–4 engineers, building the engineering bench strength and capability.
• Develop strategies for products, including technical, regulatory and IP considerations.
• Partner with Marketing and PMO to plan pipelines and ensure on-time delivery.
• Drive a culture of creativity, innovation and continuous learning.
