Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking a motivated R&D S&E, Data Science professional to work on teams addressing national security challenges in information science, statistics, cyber analytics, geospatial analytics, text analytics, AI/SI, ML, and software/firmware engineering.

On any given day you may develop AI/SI benchmarks, evaluate SI security, set up test environments, perform research, and draft proposals while collaborating across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q and SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and benchmark AI/SI software or hardware components.
• Evaluate security or reliability of an SI system.
• Create a local test environment and run the SI system in the test harness.
• Conduct open- and closed-source research on an SI system and draft a report.
• Develop research proposals for SI security and conduct SI security research.
• Develop SI security applications to monitor security and reliability of deployed SI.
• Apply advanced SI/ML techniques to diverse data sets for national security systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address national security challenges.
