Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories (CCD) is seeking a summer intern to work on the CA Center for Cyber Defenders R&D program. You will apply your knowledge of information security, data structures, algorithms, and networks to advance cybersecurity research and solve real-world problems with a national security impact.

On any day, you may collaborate across domains including software/hardware development, data analysis, ML, reverse engineering, and virtualization, and you will partner with Sandia

Qualifications

• Earned bachelor's degree
• Currently attending and enrolled full time in the spring term immediately preceding the internship (or scheduled to graduate in the spring) in an accredited science, engineering, or math graduate program
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer
• Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship

Responsibilities

• Apply cybersecurity research across multiple domains including software/hardware development, data analysis and ML, reverse engineering, and virtualization
• Collaborate with Sandia cybersecurity subject matter experts and interns to solve real-world national security problems
