Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Livermore, CA, is seeking a CA Center for Cyber Defenders (CCD) R&D Graduate Summer Intern to join a team applying computer science and cybersecurity research to real-world national security challenges. You’ll work on software/hardware development, data analysis, ML, and network security under mentorship.

Gain hands-on experience across reverse engineering, binary analysis, and virtualization while collaborating with Sandia experts; eligibility includes U.S.

Qualifications

• Earned bachelor’s degree and current full-time spring enrollment or imminent graduation in a science, engineering, or math graduate program.
• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0.
• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during summer.
• Ability to secure and maintain U.S. citizenship for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Apply cybersecurity knowledge to advance research in software/hardware, data analysis, and networks.
• Collaborate with Sandia cybersecurity experts and interns to solve real-world national security problems.
