Job summary

The Pharmacy Hub is seeking an R&D Scientist to join our in-house team and drive the development, optimization, scale‑up, and commercialization of compounded pharmaceutical formulations. This hands‑on, lab‑based role designs and runs formulation and process trials across dosage forms.

You will troubleshoot existing formulations, support equipment evaluation and technology transfer, and maintain GMP and USP 795/797/800 documentation while coordinating with Production, Quality, Pharmacy,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in pharmaceutical formulation, compounding, product development, or process development.
• Working knowledge of GMP principles and USP <795>, <797>, and <800>.
• Understanding of 503A compounding pharmacy regulatory requirements.
• Experience with multiple dosage forms and scale-up/tech transfer.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute formulation screening, optimization, and comparative studies.
• Troubleshoot formulation challenges and support equipment evaluation.
• Transfer developed formulations to Production and prepare Master Formulation Records.
• Document trials in laboratory logs and batch records; ensure compliance with 503A/USP standards.
