Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in Franklin, MA is seeking a Spring 2027 R&D Co-Op to support development and characterization of advanced adsorbent materials used in filtration and purification. This 6-month co-op offers hands-on experience in material characterization, adsorption testing, and lab-scale experimentation.

You will work closely with experienced scientists and engineers, performing experiments, collecting data, and helping build a lab database while adhering to safe laboratory practices.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelors’ or Masters in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science/Engineering.
• Strong laboratory and data analysis skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and scientific data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Characterize adsorbent materials and help develop a database for the lab.
• Conduct adsorption capacity studies for various chemicals and contaminants, including sample preparation, experimentation, and documentation.
• Support the development and optimization of new adsorbent media through experimental design, testing, and performance assessment.
• Collaborate with R&D teams on product development, technical reporting, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement while maintaining safe laboratory practices.
