Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous CNC Programmer experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with Mastercam software.
• Experience with Mazak and Okuma machines.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Extensive experience with computer modeling software.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work after-hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models.
• Create CNC programs and take a part from print to first piece.
• Input product design into computer modeling software.
• Decipher CMM printouts and adjust to keep parts in spec.
• Build basic fixtures for production and load cutting tools.
• Adjust machine settings to specified tolerances.
• Setup work area for efficient material flow and tooling.
• Troubleshoot machining problems with engineers and operators.
• Train employees to operate CNC equipment and setup basics.
• Complete setup instructions and tooling sheets.
