R&D Chemist - Major Pharmaceutical Client Site

Role Overview

As a CBRE R&D Chemist, you will perform laboratory functions and analyses, including sample preparation, method development, and instrument maintenance. This position is part of the Critical and Technical Services team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform instrumental analysis and generate data.
  • Conduct analyses following methods, protocols, SOPs, and regulations.
  • Operate instrumentation such as HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS, microscopes, and X-ray diffractometers.
  • Support development of analytical protocols and processes.
  • Synthesize, analyze, and purify compounds as needed.
  • Develop and validate analytical methods.
  • Utilize computer software like Chemstation, Empower, and Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 8-10 years of relevant experience; experience and education may be combined.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting 50 lbs, standing, and climbing ladders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent math skills and attention to detail.
